With years of education and experience, I have spent a lifetime in the field of music. After receiving a BA in music at Wayne State University, I began my career playing in several diverse bands ranging from top forty, rock and roll and a Vegas show band. Then I spent a number of years flying solo in bars, restaurants and wedding ceremonies. I now appear weekly at The Old Shillelagh in downtown Detroit and serve in the Praise band at Berkley Community Church.

 

Over the years I’ve acquired and learned to play other instruments including bass, mandolin, banjo and ukulele. They have given me the opportunity to explore a variety of musical genres such as folk, country, pop, and jazz. I share this experience with students of all ages as an instructor.
